For over thirty years Crossroads Care Surrey has been the leading provider of respite breaks to unpaid Carers in Surrey. We currently support 2,000 Carers by providing professional Carer Support Workers to take over their caring responsibility.

Client Care Assessor
Working mainly in East Surrey but also Surrey wide – office base Leatherhead
35 hour week
Salary: £21,139 per annum
For over thirty years Crossroads Care Surrey has been the leading provider of respite breaks to unpaid Carers in Surrey. We provide high-quality, bespoke care for a loved one in their own home, our core service provides carers with a 3 to 3.5 hour weekly respite break usually on the same day and at the same time each week.
We are looking to recruit a Client Care Assessor who will work in close liaison with our small friendly management team. The key purpose of the role is to ensure client care packages are high quality; person centred and appropriately risk assessed with a detailed Care Plan.
You will be the first point of contact with prospective clients and professionalism is key.
- Experienced in a social care setting or supporting people with care needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to complete assessments including risk assessments and draw up care plans
- Good IT skills
- Competent in numeracy and literacy
- Car Driver and daily use of car

Saturday Club Play Workers
Walton on Thames, £10.93 per hour
Crossroads Care Surrey has been successful in winning a grant to open a new Saturday Club, in Walton on Thames, for children and young people with disabilities so we are looking for Play Workers who can demonstrate compassion, patience and empathy in their approach to caring for these children and young people. You will be providing a variety of care, including personal care and supporting people to take part in a wide range of activities in a Club setting or in the wider community. We are recruiting for:
- Part time, permanent for 7 hours on alternate Saturdays
Having fully trained and competent staff is important to us and will attend a programme of continuous training and development. Our Play Workers are you encouraged and supported to see their work in terms of helping people to achieve their personal goals and not just to perform set tasks. A degree of flexibility is required in respect of working hours, to cover sickness and annual leave. All applicants need to be available to work alternate Saturdays. Please specify on your application form that you would be available for these times.
