Carer Support Workers

Carer Support Workers assist unpaid carers, those that look after a loved one at home, to help them to maintain their health, well-being and independence.

Fundraiser and Events Co-ordinator

 Salary £30k circa dependent on skills and experience

Applicants must have:

Experience of managing a Charitable Trust programme and successfully submitting grant applications together with an understanding of income generation through a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities.

Experience of organising and managing Fundraising events

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; IT and project management skills and be adept at relationship management with excellent interpersonal skills.

Office Administrator – Leatherhead

Salary £18,200 circa dependent on skills and experience, plus generous benefits.

Crossroads Care Surrey are the leading provider of respite care throughout Surrey. We are looking for an Administrator to join our friendly staff team based in Leatherhead.

This is a busy and varied role and applicants will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Good generalist administrative experience
  • Accurate and able to pay attention to detail
  • IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communicator both verbal and written

Saturday Club Play Workers

Walton on Thames, £10.93 per hour

Crossroads Care Surrey has been successful in winning a grant to open a new Saturday Club, in Walton on Thames, for children and young people with disabilities so we are looking for Play Workers who can demonstrate compassion, patience and empathy in their approach to caring for these children and young people. You will be providing a variety of care, including personal care and supporting people to take part in a wide range of activities in a Club setting or in the wider community. We are recruiting for:

  • Part time, permanent for 7 hours on alternate Saturdays

Having fully trained and competent staff is important to us and will attend a programme of continuous training and development. Our Play Workers are you encouraged and supported to see their work in terms of helping people to achieve their personal goals and not just to perform set tasks. A degree of flexibility is required in respect of working hours, to cover sickness and annual leave. All applicants need to be available to work alternate Saturdays. Please specify on your application form that you would be available for these times.
