Carer Support Workers required
For over thirty years Crossroads Care Surrey has been the leading provider of respite breaks to unpaid Carers in Surrey. We currently support 2,000 Carers by providing professional Carer Support Workers to take over their caring responsibility.

Saturday Club Play Workers
Walton on Thames, £10.93 per hour
Crossroads Care Surrey has been successful in winning a grant to open a new Saturday Club, in Walton on Thames, for children and young people with disabilities so we are looking for Play Workers who can demonstrate compassion, patience and empathy in their approach to caring for these children and young people. You will be providing a variety of care, including personal care and supporting people to take part in a wide range of activities in a Club setting or in the wider community. We are recruiting for:
- Part time, permanent for 7 hours on alternate Saturdays
Having fully trained and competent staff is important to us and will attend a programme of continuous training and development. Our Play Workers are you encouraged and supported to see their work in terms of helping people to achieve their personal goals and not just to perform set tasks. A degree of flexibility is required in respect of working hours, to cover sickness and annual leave. All applicants need to be available to work alternate Saturdays. Please specify on your application form that you would be available for these times. Crossroads Care Surrey is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children and expects staff and volunteers to share that commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and Disclosure and Barring Service.
