Crossroads Care Surrey goes the extra mile to support unpaid Carers

On Sunday 13th May, Crossroads Care Surrey took part in the Guildford Rotary Club’s 10km Sponsored Charity Walk.

Crossroads Care Surrey had a team of 10 who have raised £906.00 so far and are on track to raise £1,000. The route started at Shalford Park, Shalford Road, Guildford.

Molly Aldrich – Wincer, Communications, Fundraising and Projects Graduate, Crossroads Care Surrey, said, ‘I would like to say a huge thank you to all our walkers for taking part and to the Guildford Rotary Club for organising such a brilliant event, which we would highly recommend! The money we raised will allow us to continue to provide vital respite breaks to Carers in the county”.

Crossroads Care Surrey provides respite breaks at home and in the community at their Social Clubs for Adults with varying disabilities including dementia and their children’s Saturday club for children with disabilities and complex health needs. All Clubs are available at a low cost to give Carers an extended, affordable break.
